UR-LINK

Privacy

This privacy notice explains, in line with Article 13 GDPR, which personal data is processed when you use UR-LINK, for which purposes it is processed and which rights you have.

1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is the provider named in the legal notice.

Provider details and contact information are available at impressum.texploder.com.

2. Website access

When you access the website, the server processes technically required connection data, especially your IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, transferred data volume, browser information, operating system and referrer where provided by your browser.

This processing is required to provide the website, analyse errors, maintain system security and prevent misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Sessions and technically required storage

A technically necessary session is used for login, session management and CSRF protection. This may include a session cookie stored in your browser.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where storage on or access to your device is strictly necessary, Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG.

4. Discord login

If you sign in with Discord, a connection to Discord is established. As part of the OAuth login, UR-LINK processes in particular the Discord ID, username, display name and avatar image provided by Discord, if available.

This processing is required for authentication, account creation and delivery of your profile. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Discord may also process data outside the EU/EEA. Discord’s own privacy and contractual terms apply in that case.

5. Profile data, links and voluntary content

When you use UR-LINK, we store the profile data you maintain, including display name, profile URL, headline, bio, theme settings, colours, button configuration, link lists, chosen icons and uploaded images for link icons or profile backgrounds where applicable.

This processing is required to provide your user account and your public profile page. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Please note that content on your public profile page may be visible to third parties and may be indexed or otherwise collected by search engines and other services.

6. Image uploads

If you upload your own icon images or a background image, those files are stored on the server and linked to your profile configuration. This includes the file itself, technical file information and its relation to your profile.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

7. External links and sharing

Your profile page can contain external links. It also offers share actions for services such as WhatsApp, X or Telegram. Such connections are only established after you actively trigger the respective action.

From that moment on, the privacy terms of the selected provider also apply. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR because the processing is necessary to perform the function you requested.

8. External resources used on this website

This website currently loads fonts from Google Fonts and icon resources through jsDelivr. Your IP address is transmitted to those providers because your browser requests the required files directly from them.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in order to provide the website consistently, efficiently and with the intended design. Where providers transfer data to third countries, this takes place according to the provider’s stated safeguards, especially standard contractual clauses where applicable.

At the time of this notice, no separate analytics or advertising tracking tools are implemented in the source code beyond that.

9. Recipients and categories of recipients

Recipients of personal data include in particular technical hosting and infrastructure providers, Discord as part of the login process, CDN or asset providers for externally loaded resources, and the destination services you actively choose when opening external links or share actions.

10. Storage periods

Server and connection data is only stored for as long as required for secure and stable operation. Account data, profile content and uploads are generally stored for as long as your profile remains active or statutory retention duties apply.

11. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

12. Version of this notice

Status: April 2026. This privacy notice will be updated if technical features, processed data or legal requirements change.
